Our services include nearly everything from simple service calls or questions, all the way to brand new, customized, and luxurious in ground pools. We also provide ongoing maintenance services such as regular cleaning, water quality testing and balancing, equipment inspections, and necessary repairs to ensure your pool remains in optimal condition year-round.

Why should i replace my pump if it is still working?

Pool equipment and specifically pumps are specialized pieces of equipment. These specialty items have improved drastically over the years with unique usability and service features. Modern pool pumps have numerous quality improvements over previous generations, ranging from 75%+ energy costs reductions, near silent operation, and even wireless control and automation, ensuring that the last thing on your mind is a pool pump, or worrying about your pool shutting down while away from home without you knowing.

How often should i run my pool pump and filter?

For above ground pools, we recommend a bare minimum of 12hrs per day (8am-8pm), However more is always better.
In Ground pools are very unique, as not only every pool is designed and filtered differently, but many factors can affect the ideal run time for your pump. In ground pools MUST conform to specific turnover rates (How many times your pools water is filtered per day) while also conforming to minimum and maximum flow rates.
As a baseline, we recommend 24/7 for single speed pumps, and variable speed pumps to never go below 1750rpm.

Why does my pool keep turning green?

There are dozens of reasons a pool may turn green, from improper chemical balance to inadequate or dirty filters. For reference, cartridges should be cleaned every 3-6 months, And sand filters should be back-washed every week, with a full sand replacement every 3 years. If you are having repeated issues with water clarity or algae growth, we are happy to discuss possible causes and solutions!

What chemicals should i be monitoring throughout the year?

The main chemicals that need to be monitored are listed in order of recommended priority: Weekly: PH, Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, Alkalinity
Bi-Weekly: Stabilizer, Hardness, Copper, iron, Phosphates, Total Dissolved solids/Salt, Water Temperature.
